MINOLTA AF 35-70mm f/4 MACRO ZOOM LENS
      #559408 - 25/10/2007 13:57

Any opinions on this one?
I've got an Alpha 100 and I've been offered one for £50.

How useful will the f.4 be? And how good will the lense be?
Will it offer a LARGE improvement in any way over my Sony kit lense and my Tamron 28-300? (standard apertures)

The 35-70 f4 is quite a nice lens and worth having but NOT worth £50 - they sell for about half that on eBay. It will not be a large improvement over your current two lenses.
