Ok, so I have this minor problem with my Konica Minolta 5D... Was worst affected yesterday at an RAF base trip, but there has been a 'problem' before, only at airshows in the summer... Previously the shutter button has been 'sticking' or is stiff, as once pressed it will remain depressed, returning to it's orignal position after a long time... (Never has this problem indoors or at home, and was most noticeable at the likes of hot summer weather)
But yesterday, the button decided to worsen with this effect, so much so that it made a much louder click when initially pressed. It stayed depressed for longer. This lead to autofocus scanning when the camera was left alone, and none of the buttons would initially respond... Now the really strange thing was it only did this outdoors yesterday and was absolutely fine inside the hangars, and also yesterday was cooler than a hot summer day...
Does this sound like a shutter release button problem and has anybody witnessed this before?? Could it be a temperature related problem?? Definately not the battery as that was fully charged that morning...
Could my camera be allergic to sunlight?
Hope that made sense

Had exactly the same problem - my 5D started sticking in the half pressed position. Temporary solution was a burst with the rocket blower. Permanent solution was a repair under extended warranty.
