Hi there,
I tried some image organizing software before (ACDSee, Picajet) but I wasn't satisfied with the ammount of time they took when cataloguing my images.
Based on your own experiences, can anyone recommend a quick and easy to use image organizer that can handle JPEG's, RAW files and TIF's (maybe even PSD's) image files with relative celerity?
The main priority is organizing image files scattered througout several discs at least by category or folders but any date/EXIF/IPTC search would be a bonus. Editing or generating slide shows/HTML wouldn't be necessary.
For the record: My laptop is not that old (not that new either) an based on some other programs' performance (CS2, raw converters) it's not a too slow machine: Sempron with 1GB of RAM on XP.
Cheers

Fen recommended FastStone some time ago on here and I've been using it ever since. Nice program, very useful and free for home use It may not be quite what you're looking for - but worth investigating I think.

I've been pondering about FastStone. The only two reasons that kept me from installing it are the lack os .PSD files support and the fact that Picajet hasn't finished cataloguing my files yet! It's soo d**n slow!
Therefore I didn't have the chance to try its features out yet!
In case I give up on Picajet, is Faststone, err, fast?

Based on their reputation, I'd certainly give the Ulead software a go but it doesn't seem to support RAW files - or does it?
