.............to the computer room cause er indoors and youngest daughter are hogging the remote and watching "House" on the telly.....................which I can't abide! I mean it's Huw Laurie for god's sake................you know "blackadder".....................how the hell am I supposed to regard him as a serious straight actor after that!  He gets that goofy expression on his face and i'm just waiting for the punchline but instead he says something deeply meaningful and significant in that phoney baloney American accent..........................and what's that all about anyway.......................don't they have english people in the USA? Maybe I'm just jaded from working in the NHS all these years but show me a consultant who gets it right all the time like House does and I'll show you santa clause!
Right, that's it.......................they can watch what they want.....................I'm gonna grab another beer and yak with you lot instead!

I love House.
I think it's an absolutely brilliant program, extremely well written and I think it's rivalling my favourite series of all time... 'Fraiser' which I utterly adore.

Listen Sweety-Kitten-Pumpkin -Fluffikins... Do me a favour, just watch *one* episode and see what it's like? I thought House would be pants and my parents said it was great.. I just had the TV on one evening and it started and I thought I would watch it.. now I am totally hooked and bought series one and two off play.com for £14.99 each.. it's BRILL...
Now saying that, if *you* had a white coat on and a stethascope round your neck, that would be brill too.. but beggars can't be choosers so I'm sticking with the TV series for the time being..

Look...............I watched it................once.................reluctantly with one eye open! It was this episode where this consultant's wife is dying and they revive her just long enough and for the sole purpose of said consultant getting to tell her "you're chinned chuck....................aw revoir" (Well it was a bit more dramatic and sentimental than that and involved her dying in his arms and all that dingoes kidneys but I can't be sure as I was barfing into the waste basket at the time! )............................but anyway.....................if we can play "doctors and nurses" together some time then I promise to show you my big dangly stethescope...................................you can stick it in your ear you know!
