Was out walking in our local park today when I came across my first dragonfly.
I've took many damselflies before so this was quite an experience for me to see one so close (even on my finger!)
I'm looking for the name of this species, which I've narrowed it down to being something like a female Golden-ringed Dragonfly.

Last one of this little monster, he won't have his photograph with me no more :'(
I did spot another one I've yet to ID near the same pond so fingers crossed I'll grab a shot in the week

Nice shots....particularly like the pose and framing in the first  Would like to see more of the 2nd one tho....all the legs in the frame?

Legs wasn't in frame on the shot, which is why I wasn't too bothered about putting that border up :{
Trying to get a few more angles of her then I'll leave them be, don't want to be branded as a pervert
