Nash Point (4 pics)
      #677933 - 12/07/2008 00:02

So I went to Nash point today with my local camera club, and what an awesome place it was too!

Here's 4 photographs out of 407 I took this evening, I'll probably add more to my flickr in the next day

mods feel free to remove this pic, but thought I'd stick it up as it's 100.16kb :{

Number 1: Love the pink tone in the splash. Think you may have a slight slope on the horizon though other wise a good shot.

Number 2: As it's almost mono anyway might be worth converting to black and white and dramatising that sky even more.

Number 3: Classic fishing shot but a wonky horizon again...

Number 4: Could be worth losing the smaller gull as it competes with the main one a bit. Think the colours in the sunset areas need a bit of a boost as well. What else was there?.... Oh yes....................horizon!!!

Looks a cracking place for a club evening shoot though.

I like number two - and although I didn't think of it I'd like to see it in black and white too.

By the way - where is Nash point? Nash was my maiden name and it struck me I didn't know where it was.

It's between Barry and Porthcawl.
Some more info here
Thanks for the comments both. El sid, I'll edit that gull shot later and see what it turns out like.
I'm not very good at keeping a straight horizon eh?
