Very nice. The light patch at the bottom of the 2nd shot does detract from the image slightly but it's still very effective.

Not sure what the second is but it look great! Agree about the light patch though - perhaps clone some more blue background to cover it?

I really love the first shot....can you please tell me what lense you used, i would like to beable to get some shots like this bit i dont think my sigma 70-300 would do it, i have to be so far away and can never get in that close.....

I really like the first shot. It just seems so pleasing on the eye... excellent focus, lovely colours.
2nd shot would be better without that light patch like others have said, but it's still quite nice all the same. The only thing I would add is that I don't like the little bug in the shot....there's not enough detail in it for it to add to the shot and as it is, it just looks like a black splodge that counteracts the calm feeling that the picture would otherwise have had. But that's just me being picky... I still like the shot.

Thanks very much for all the nice comments The light area on the second one is just some out of focus flowers in the background - I agree it would have been better without them being there.
Lens for both was Sony/Zeiss 16-80mm on a Sony a350 camera.

Love the first shot.
I do see what they're saying about the second shot but I still really like it.
