Not photography related but would anyone using Firefox please try to connect to my company's web-site as a test.
http://www.metroline.co.uk/
I have been updating some stuff on there and Firefox claims it can't find the server. IE connects fine. Wierd. I'm using the latest version of Firefox so if anyone out there can connect I would be interested in what version you are using.

Thanks Fen.
Wierder and weirder. It seems that it's only within our company that we can't connect with Firefox. Looking like a proxy problem but I don't use our proxy server and in any case why would IE connect OK?
Good job the corporate standard browser is IE.

Have a problem with a site that I look after.
It's housed on one of the servers within the corporation and we can always see it when we access the site as all the computers are within the corporation.
Yet, for some unknown reason* part of the site keeps going to private use only, that is it can only be viewed within the corporation and not by any outside the corp-network.
This is a ****** as the part that keeps going private is a major section of the website that the public need access to.
We don't know there's a problem though until a member of the public tells us they can't access it! Looks really bad on our part.
* I think the reason is hat some twonk see that there is a section of the website made public on the server and turns the public access off.

Our site is hosted by Demon. We have a DNS server and proxy server here and they are quite tightly 'screwed down' to prevent 'inappropriate' use of the web by our staff. I need to 'inappropriately' use the web to download stuff etc. so I by-pass the proxy server. Can't figure out why IE connects and FF gives a DNS error 'Address not found'.

LOL. I don't write the content, just maintain it. It means the average age of our buses is 4.5 years.
