Some stuff from the (Vancouver) Jazz Festival (this past Sunday) and some street / restauarant (kind of) stuff and,FWIW, all the pictures have been resized and some of have been lightened BUT no sharpening has been applied
Jazz Fest _1
Jazz Fest 2
Jazz Fest 3
Jazz Fest 4
Jazz Fest 5
Jazz Fest 6
Jazz Fest 7
Jazz Fest 8
Allergic to the Jazz Fest ....
Shootin' at the Jazz Fest with a Olympus ...which has been flipped, by moi, in CS2
Shooting each other ..... with a crowd of on lookers
Finally, an entertainer (trumpet player) at the Jazz Fest
Some Street/restaurant stuff
Folks chowing down at a local Chinese restaurant
And, Lastly, walking around the streets of Vancouver I chanced upon this scene ..... and couldn't NOT shoot it
Hope you're all still awake after viewing these scintilating photo's
Cheers,
Jack

Hi Jack, I can't believe that you actually spent money, and that coming from a Scotsman Looks like the lens is very good, sharp with good bokeh and isolates the background really well. I did have a play with one recently but ended up buying the 70mm F2.4 instead as it was very wee and worked better than the 77mm I bought at least on my DS.
I'm not surprised you got this one though as you always liked your 135, still got mine somewhere though I did once mistake it for my macro lens and had to use it for macro instead !
I like a man who know what he likes, mostly stuff that wiggles as far as I can tell from your shots ? I particularly liked the "allergic to the Jazz Fest" and the last one was pretty funny.

Aye laddie .... I undid the padlocks on my wallet let loose some bills .... and I not saying they were old BUT the picture of Queen Elizabeth was from just after the coronation
Hi ya John,
Yep, I sprang for a new camera body (K200D) along with a new lens and all within three(3) weeks but I am loving both of them
I know you will love your DA 70/2.4, as well
Cheers and looking forward to seeing some pics
Jack

At least you are spending it now, that is what matters, we must keep the consumer boom going lest we all go down the tubes!
