I don't think either of these would be very useful. The usual recommendation is

1. Use a blower (such as Giotto Rocket) to blow the dust off. If that doesn't work

2. Use a nylon brush charged with an air blast to attruct the dust and remove it. There's a very handy battery-powered one called Arctic Butterfly which is expensive but worth it. If that doesn't work

3. Use a wet-clean method. There's all sorts available but the easiest is sensor swabs for your suze sensor and sensor cleaning fluid such as Eclipse or Green Sensor Clean. But if you are frightened to do that

4. Have it done for you for about £30.

Check out Speed Graphic for costs.

Jack,
Thanks for the reply!
Personally I think people tend to shy away from sensor cleaning? But when all is said & done its just dusting 'aint it?
Before now I even used a Henry hoover to clean the inside of my K10D - & what is more it worked!
I believe that all sensors are protected by a pretty tough filter anyway - so as long as you exibit a bit of care, I can't see why these 'pens' wouldn't work..
Cheers
John

The LensPen Sensor pens do work. Personally, I use them as a one shot deal then they get relegated to less critical duty like review screen cleaning and filters. Bought from 7day they don't break the bank either.
