Does anyone know if that thing placed in the right hand side of the pocket wizard is the thing used instead of having a cable to connect it into your SB800 flashgun. Just asking as i get my pocket wizards on Friday.

It looks to me like a 30mm jack plug to plug into a studio flash.

So it won't fit into the side of my SB800?

I think you need to get an adaptor.
I'll go look.
Edit: I THINK its one of these you need (or 3)

The thing sat on the PW in the picture is a PC-sync to 3.5mm adapter, it's used to convert the PC-sync to 3.5mm cable (shown by the PW's antenna) into a 3.5mm to 3.5mm cable. This is for use when connecting to studio strobes. All you need to use is the PC-sync to 3.5mm cable.

I'm now the proud owner of 4 pocket wizards. Plenty of pics on the way.
