Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone out there has the 70mm f2.4mm limited Pentax lens and can highly recommend it????
I have the 21mm and 40mm limited lenses and I think they are excellent, espeically the 40mm. I also find the 21mm (31mm) is a pretty good lens as a standard wide angle. (might look at 14mm one day)
I sold my zoom lens to concentrate on the fixed length, and really like it.
Would like to add the 700mm to complete the collection, but just after anyones views.
Many thanks Graham

As you already have Limited lenses I think you can safely assume the 70mm will be just as good.
I only have the 43mm Limited, it's an extraordinarily good lens, and if I needed or wanted another Limited I would not hesitate.

A very nice short telephoto/portrait lens. Beautifully small and light. If you're pleased with the other limiteds, I don't think you'll be disappointed with this one.
Lens hood/cap arangement might be considered a little quirky, but I like it.

Hi Graham,
Whilst I don't own one I have sold a few (of the DA 70/2.4) lenses and have done a few test shots:
PHOTO #1) DA 70/2.4 shot at f/2.4 in the store. straight from the camera/card to Photobucket
PHOTO #2) DA 70/2.4 shot at f/8 and, once again, straight from the camera/card
Hope this helps a little
Cheers,
Jack

The lens is obviously a good one and with some progressive sharpening, the images will be superb IMHO.
Thanks for posting them. Can you arrange a 90% discount?
