It's not quite the same as I re-edited it slightly (crop and saturation reduction)

Thanks Phil, I can see the changes you've made.

On the right-hand side, coming down the slope, is that a tree-top or a wolf?

Wasn't going to enter this month.. [Re: datawise]
      #657767 - 21/05/2008 19:30

..as the competition entries so far are too good for me.

Just thought it may be fun turning one of the mods a bit furry

Shot from back garden and cropped to remove pylon cables.

As ever, comments appreciated.

I'm surprised no one's posted one of a Scottish island yet.

haha I went for the lone tree.

that black cloud was quite annoying, couldn't find a way of making a feature of it.
there's a bigger one here, bit sharper...

I know we all have taken endless pictures of the sky as part of our photographic apprenticeship, but there are some really great pictures here.

Why doesn't AP devote a double page spread to each month's competition? If the images were wonderful, it would inspire, if they were lousy, it would encourage people to enter the competition on the basis that they could have done better.

That would be silly - it's quite orange enough without them!
