Hi folks - have finally managed to finish Module 1 & got it off in the post. Have really struggled with weather conditions here in the North West & getting any decent shots. Found it quite difficult to do the self assessment - not easy to be objective about your own work & also not knowing exactly what the tutors want. Oh well - I shall wait & see!!! Where is everyone else up to? - there doesn't seem to be much activity in the forum.

Hello everyone,

I was wondering how long does it usually take to get your modules marked and returned? I sent mine on 6/1/08 and I am yet to hear anything???????????

Hi - I think that I would be making some enquiries by now - over 4 weeks seems to be an excessive amount of time. Going back to Solana's post on 19/11 - she appeared to indicate that it took between 1 & 2 weeks to receive her feedback - but obviously this is all new to us. Good luck!!!

Hi, that does seem a long time - normally I'd say 10-14 days but it does depend on whether your assigned tutor has all their students send them a module that week.

Give Elliot a call to check that it's arrived,

Garry

Hello!

I've just received my pack in the post this month way down here in the Falkland Islands . . .just as winter starts to kick in.

I'm in the process of reading the modules and books; if anyone has any top tips or hints, they'll be greatly received.

Ian

Wow - the Falklands!! - spent 3 weeks in Patagonia last year, including a few days in Tierra del Fuego - so I guess that's the nearest that I can say I've been.
Use the Forum - everyone is very friendly & eager to help - so if you have a problem then share it.
............ and welcome!!!

Jude

I would try not to look at things like a photographer - in fact I can't think of anything that looks 'like a photographer' - maybe, when using a tripod, an octopus or a set of bag pipes?

Welcome to the course.
