For me number one. I finally had to choose out of number 1 and 4 being that 3 isn't focused in the right place and number 2 isn't as sharp as number 1 on the black bits on the flower. But that's what i think. Prob best for the appraisal gallery.

But then your step mum could like them all as she isn't looking at it with a photographers eye as in which case number 3 is the worse out of all of them.

I like no 4 best as I think the composition is more balanced. Lisa.

thanks for your comments. I agree with both of you. I prefer 1 and 4. They came out better than I thought because it was quite breezy and the camera was handheld. As were the other flower pics in Appraisal but I didnt mind the movement in those.

one and four...eenie meenie miney mo..

Yep, 1 and 4 for me as well - more so 4 as the green at the top frames it a bit more with the green at the bottom.

4 it is then. A more balanced pic I think. I'm surprised I didnt notice till I asked that no.3 was really out of focus, apart from the wrong bits that were in focus. I think I need to go to spec savers as well as pay more attention. Thanks all, you've been very helpful.
