Pensthorpe, Norfolk

May I suggest Pensthorpe, near Fakenham in Norfolk. It is not only a nature reserve, but hosts lots of annual events which are rather photogenic. I went to the Mediaeval Spectacular in August last year and had a great time, including the time spent sitting on straw bales drinking local ale.

Pensthorpe is also host to the BBC 2008 Springwatch programme.

I second this recommendation. It's a great place and ideal for some easy waterfowl pictures.
