OK I am trying to print and it looks nothing like the original. Yadda yadda.
1) I calibrated the screen. Doesn't look much diferent.
2) Did a profile First Aid. Loads of profiles damaged so fixed those.
3) Thought maybe the yellow was out so ran a nozzle check. Light Black a bit icky but yellow fine, did a clean, looks perfect.
4) Set Profiles. I have Epson 2400 Premium SemiGloss Photo Best as the profile for the print. I also have it in Print and in Print Settings . Screengrabs of all settings in those links. I also get this error but I don't think its relevant no?
Still no good. This is the original:

This is the print before fix:

This is the print after fix:

Theres a little less yellow in the highlights but not much has changed. Where am I going wrong? Im sure I have the right profile everywhere but I *cant* have.
Then I tried to save the screengrab as Save For Web jpeg and the jpeg version suddenly looked a bit like the problem I am getting with the printer - here are both shots:
Bigger
Its probably changed a bit with the jpeg so try this, straight screengrab, not touched at all (big file): here
You can't see well on these pics but they're stupidly, stupidly magenta in real life, they look almost pornographicly purple...
So it *must* be a profile error right?
Aaaggggghhhhhhhh!!!!! What have I missed out????!!!!

Have you got the printer driver set to allow Photoshop to manage colour profile alone, ie colour management by the printer should be off.
I've an idea that if the printer driver and PS are both trying to manage the colour you can run into some major problems...

... printer/printing preferences/main/color management/ICM/OFF (no color adjustment)
At least that's how I set my Epson R800 - it mat well be different with your printer.

Without wishing to confuse this thread, I do something entirely different to these suggestions. I allow the printer to control the colour in Photoshop and use the ICM profile for the Epson paper and 'relative colorimetric' not perceptual.
It works very well for me on the Pro3800 and also on the R2400.
I have everything, camera, monitor and printer set to AdobeRGB.

I have uploaded to my Flickr site a screenshot of the settings I use. I cannot post it here as it is too big. Click on the Image, select 'All Sizes', then select 'Original'. You should be able to read it clearly from there.
I hope it helps. It is for the Pro3800, but is similar for the R2400. All I can say is that it works for me, but it goes against conventional thinking.

Thanks David, I've printed it off and I'll try that combination out next. I'm getting there slowly and three trees later. Lisa.
