I've recently changed from a Minolta Dynax 7 to a Sony A200, and need some help checking out the compatibility of some Minolta accessories;
The remote release from the Dynax works. The lensbaby issue was kindly answered below, but I have a 3500xi flash which functioned on the Dynax (without ADI obviously) but on the Sony it over-exposes by a huge amount, leaving portraits bleached out.
Are there any settings I can adjust on the camera? I can hear it zoom as the lens is zoomed, so there is some communication going on, but the exposure is wrong.
Is this flash simply too old now? I can't find any info on the Sony website.
Any help appreciated.
Mike.

I'm afraid your flash won't work properly with digital cameras. Flash guns designed for film cameras often used the light hitting the film to take a TTL or OTF reading. Obviously there is no film to do this with in a digital camera and the sensor is not suitable.
HERE is a flash compatibility chart.

Roger, thank you very much indeed. Why I couldn't find that compatibility chart, well, I just don't know.
Looks like another ebay sale...
