Firstly and foremost, can I say a big thank you for printing my pictures in last month's (February) edition. They look great in print and I know the magazine circulation has gone up as my mum has bought a copy for all the rellies and her friends
Now, I don't want to look a gift-horse in the mouth and appear ungrateful or anything, but when can I expect the National Geographic Backpack to arrive? It won't go straight on ebay, as I was hoping to have it before my trip to Skye in a couple of weeks to put it through its paces. Do you think there is much chance of that or are they in short/difficult supply?

I had some pics in the same mag, no sign of a bag yet... I think we should hassle them like crazy - emails off first thing monday morning
However, I don't think it's anything unusual - when it comes to camera mags AP seems to be the exception to the rule when coughing up for the goodies, others take forever, the excuse being that it's through some kind of agency or something. I once waited 10 months for some sandisk stuff (from another mag, oh, the shame ) it finally arrived because the Editor sorted it personally. Guess I wasn't the only one because they changed sponsors shortly after.

Once AP had my address, I got my memory card (for a pic in Garry Macs column) within the week. So, I think it depends
I've already hassled Paul at WDC. I hate hassling people, I do enough of it at work

Hi all,
When prizes are given out, they will usually come direct from the manufacturer and not the magazine. I'm not trying to deny that the magazine has any responsibility regarding this, though, so if any of you are still waiting for prizes, send me a message stating what issue your photos appeared in and I'll pass your details on to the relevant people.

Hey Guys,
I've spoken to the marketing team (they are in charge of the distribution of prizes you see) to see what the deal is and will let you know when I get a response.
Apologies for the delays.
Regards,
Paul

When do I need to start baking? I better not bake it too early or it might go off

Odd. I got my PSE6 (due from the same issue as your bag) a couple of weeks back. Obviously they are supplied by different people, but there is clearly some progress being made. <- (smug)

NG? Do you mean NA? If so, I would have hoped that he stopped by here now and again to see what's going on otherwise it begs the question why have such a board?
I've had emails and PMs from various members of the WDC team to say that they are looking into it as a priority (admittedly the last one was 7 March )
