ETRSi Focus Screen With Grid
      #563410 - 03/11/2007 00:34

I am partially sighted and am considering a focus screen with the added grid for better composition. Looking to acquire one but would like the views of those that have used them. They are costly or can be, but would one make a wise investment

I've got them in several cameras (including MF ones), and find them useful. Some are less hvisible than others, though, so it might be worth checking it out to make sure you can actually see the grid lines. Also, if you're not using a metering head, it might be well worth considering the Beattie version which appears much brighter - more expensive, for sure, but if it made significant difference for you it might be worthwhile.
