I am thinking of getting an FZ18, but cant seem to find any reviews. Can anyone help me? What are the main differences between this and a DSLR? What is the dslr equivalent of an 18X zoom? Is there shutter lag? Does it do jpeg & raw? Can it take filters?

Not many reviews out yet for the FZ18. Below is all I could find. If it helps any I've got the FZ8 and find it's an excellent camera. I use it more than my dSLR.

Cheers for that Dave, the reviews certainly helped. It sounds a really good camera, and I could well be the proud owner of one very soon!
