Went out for a long walk along the Ridgeway this afternoon. The large building is the new Diamond Light Synchrotron particle accelerator at Harwell which has just been completed and opened for business in Feb this year. In the distance the two lumps are known as the Wittenham Clumps. Time Team did a dig there a couple of years ago. The Thames is just the other side of them. The large rusty gas tower in the middle of the picture is in Didcot.

I generally don't pick up a camera on Sundays, but I didn't want to miss the FirstView so just as I was shutting down the computer for the night I grabbed the Fuji out of it's docking cradle and snapped what I was looking at - an old Private Eye 'Yobs' cartoon blu-tacked to my monitor.

Rufford Park Sculpture Garden, Nottinghamshire, 1st April 9.45am
I went out early in the morning to photo 'little birdies' and had a walk through the Sculpture Garden. I know you guys like 'benches' so thought this might interest you. It's a bit grainy 'cos the ISO was high for the birdies. Lisa.
