The Introduction to Digital Imaging Course is designed particularly for those at the beginning of the digital imaging learning curve. You may have just switched to digital photography from working with film, or you may have had a digital camera for some time but feel there are areas of your knowledge, understanding and technique that could be improved.
The course takes students through everything that needs to be known to take and process digital images of the highest quality. By the time you complete the course you will be able to take full control of your digital images. The course will help you to build a firm foundation of knowledge and experience that will allow you to concentrate on being creative rather than having to worry about technical issues. Although aimed primarily at digital novices even those who consider themselves reasonably experienced will find significant benefits from the deeper understanding and smoother workflows provided by the course. As this is a home study course you are free to work at your own pace and whenever you have free time.

Now, is this the course that currently is under the name of Diploma in Digital Photography? HAve been wondering about the SPI forums and trying to find people doing the same course as i and felt rather lonely!!!

Hi Hanna-Marie,
Nick post is from 2006 and as you have correctly said The Intro to Digital Imagining is now defunct (apart from anyone who has already started it) and has been superceeded by the Diploma Course.
Which course are you actually doing?  Lisa.
