We travel a lot and take photos of cityscape at dusk/night. I am looking for a camera that excels at this. We have a budget of approx. £120-£180 and given the sales could therefore look at originally £200+ cameras with reductions.
Thanks,
Sarah

Hi and welcome what do you use at the moment. I have had a look at amazon and there are quite a few in the price you want. now to get good shoots at sunset and night needs long exposure and a tripod so look at a camera that has manual control
I currently have a casio exilim from a few years back.
Thanks.
Hi
Under half price now the Panasonic TZ20 is down to £159 http://www.buyacamera.co.uk/search.asp?RecId=PANCA5001 It was over £300!!!
I shoot with the Panasonic TZ7 & TZ10. TZ stands for Travel Zoom. I use the 2/10 second timer and a small pocket tripod and rest it against lamp posts etc and on walls and benches and pavements...
Read all about it here http://www.photographyblog.com/revie...c_tz20_review/
And don't forget. Post processing is an important part of photography and should be used to sharpen and enhance pictures taken with your camera. If you don't have an imaging editor, then use the one in my signature below. There are http://ictpublish.com/pixlr/ to get you started. The most useful is the http://ictpublish.com/pixlr/Videoes/...06_Levels.html and for even more adjustment. The http://ictpublish.com/pixlr/Videoes/...07_Curves.html is a must (it's my favourite all-in-one adjuster). My Resize-Crop-Sharpen tutorial below, will get your pics ready for the internet or whatever
Cheers!
