Nikon P500 Bridge Camera

Can anyone tell me if there is anything on the market, or even if the camera is capable of using a modified remote auto shutter release. I know it is something I have had to sacrifice by not investing in a DSLR, but for my needs; a bridge camera is ideal, but would still like to know if there is something out there for the P500. Thanks

I don't think your camera will take a remote or IR shutter release . You could take a look at this site though
