Hi, i have a Nikon D3000 It works fine when I turn it on. I can see the screen and everything but as soon as I take a photo the screen goes to black and I can't see anything anymore can any one help with what is wrong?

It lets me take a photo but then goes black and no matter what i press it stays black the only way to view it is to turn it on and off, also to change any settings i have to do the same turn in on and off again..any help on whats wrong would be amazing

This is normal for a Nikon after you take a photo is will show it for a few seconds then turn it off to conserve the battery life. To see your photos press your review button it looks like an arrow head and they should appear. hope this helps ... graham
