Burn AVCHD mts to DVD for TV?

I have Sony Handycam AVCHD videos from HDR-TG5, and would like to burn them to DVD via Nero V10 or 1Click for viewing on TV. However, neither Nero or iClick works with the AVCHD files. Is there any way to merge the mts files for DVD?
