I was wondering what make of 2x or 3x teleconverter I could use for my EOS450D, as ones I have looked at are for full frame cameras, and the AF funtion won't work if used.
There are no teleconvertors that fit EF-S lenses as far as I know. If your lenses are EF, any third-party convertor will fit, but the AF issue is down to the fact that you lose 2 stops with a 2x convertor, 3 with a 3x, so whatever the fitting, only an f2.8 or faster lens will autofocus. There are workarounds, but in all honesty, it's better to focus manually.
Many thanks for that suggestion, would you recommend any? I've looked at the Kenko and Sigma 2x and they seema fair price
