Nikon d3000
Hi all,
I'm brand new to the forums and hope you can help me out.
I currently have a Olympus 1030 digital camera,It's one of the waterproof range. Which I bought mainly for my trip to Africa a few years ago when I went diving with Great White Sharks.
It was a awesome experience and I was thrilled with some of the videos I got.
I'm off to Borneo this year and would like to upgrade to a better camera, preferably a entry level DSLR and I am thinking about the D3000, which I've been told has a very good tutorial system on board (perfect for a novice like me). One thing that concerns me though is that I will be walking through a high humidity (80-100% humidity) rainforest for several hours per day, will this affect the camera, is there any way to protect it. Should I buy the D3000 or make do with my bomb proof olympus?
All advice is welcome, Thanks.
