I've been looking at getting a new camera and shortlisted it down these 2, the FZ8 or FZ18. At the moment there seems to be about Ł80 difference in price, is the FZ18 worth the extra ? I can see that the FZ18 has a larger zoom range both wider and longer and also includes the facial recognition feature, are these features worthwhile ?

Any assistance would be great ?
