Whatever the cost you will stil have an excellent camera. I've got the FZ8 and can't praise it highly enough.
As much as I like Panasonic stuff, their shops are a total waste of time. When I bought my FZ8 from an online retailer, my local Panasonic Store hadn't heard of it. Also they were selling the previous model, the FZ7, for more than I paid for the FZ8!
