Many thanks. I've seen quite a few pictures on Flickr taken with the FZ8 and I must admit I don't know what some magazines are complaining about. Of course as you say, there's bound to be more noise than with a dSLR but what use is a dSLR stuck in the cupboard at home, when the FZ8 could be in your pocket.
