One problem you MIGHT find is that the angle of light incidence onto the photosites at the edges (and corners) MIGHT be to acute and MIGHT cause a slight vignetting problem.

If you're in any doubt, ask the shop if you can try it on a D3 (or D700) and see if there is any problem.

I'm hoping that the lenses I have are all as useful on Fx bodies as they are on film and Dx - apart from the kit 18-70 which is Dx only (Not tried it on a film body though...)
