I have Virgin Broadband and have just (yesterday) installed a Netgear router to feed the desktop PC (XP), wife's iMac (Tiger) and the new laptop running Vista and to my amazement it all worked OK first time. A great boon after spending the last 7 months unplugging and powering down the modem to switch between PC and Mac. Have to say I was impressed with the help from Virgin Broadband when we first acquired the iMac as they talked me through changing connections on the phone as I did it for real. This is one of the reasons I'm still with for broadband them although, unfortunately I do have a BT line.
