I've been struggling with part C. The problem is I don't possess optical filters for black and white but I do have a whole set of digital 'filters' including Red, Green, Blue, Yellow, Pink and Purple!!

Thought I'd use the RGB ones to simulate optical filters but most of the results I've been getting are dreadfull! The digital 'filter' just adds a dose of colour to each pixel and the result doesn't convert to mono in a way I like.

I'm going to use normal colour images and convert to mono using the appropriate channel.
