Nice to see this lady's work featuring again in the mag, albeit in a user review. I remember her portfolio from a few months back very distinctly, and remarked on it at the time.
Not often we see someone cropping to the square in the digital era, but she uses it very well. I'll get around to reading the text later - just been enjoying the pictures so far. :-)

I often crop to the square format.

Maybe, but I've never seen it! ;-) Well okay, I might have seen some square images of yours, but I can't immediately recall it. At any rate I find it's unusual to see people cropping to the square from a rectangular format. Even with film I think it's rare to see square images that didn't originate from 6x6.

True, I don't see it often myself> I've plenty square cropped portraits I'd love to frame but can you get square frames? They're like hens teeth. Of course I could have them framed but then there's the added cost.

I've shot square format on 126, 127, 828 and (cheating a bit) 620 as well as 120...

Yes, I would. Of course to be awkward, but also because I actually love the square format. I've just been to check my website, and was rather shocked that there are no square pics there at all, just two squareish ones, so I'll have to put that right.

8x8 frames are not particularly uncommon here in Bristol, and at no price premium.
