TZ3 suitable mini tripod
      #625387 - 11/03/2008 21:24

Hello

I'm totally new to photography but since my girlfriend bought me a panasonic tz3 for christmas i've been really getting into the subject. I bought a small tripod from asda which is not suitable given what i believe is an odd place for a tripod hole on the tz3: on the far left and the shoot button the far right?!

I bought a gorillapod but i'm not very impressed as the camera shakes very quickly (even with the 2 second timer. yes i could use 10 seconds but it's not that practical).

What i'm really after is some advice on a decent mini tripod. If anyone has some views specifically for the TZ3 i would be over the moon!

Cheers

Mike

Asda do a black and chrome Hama tripod with 3-section extending legs... about £9-99. Just under 9 inches long when closed and about 18 inches with legs extended

Here it is (with TZ-2 atop) alongside the "usual" mini-tripods sold (or given away) with many compact cameras
