Hi can anyone there tell me if the flash should come up when needed or do i have to pop it up myself when it tells me too, i've only just had it thanks.

Hi - the pop-up flash is activated manually by a small button on the rear of the camera Further details here

Hi Chris,
Thanks for your help, do you know what they are talking about with the SD card when they say, class 1 to 6 after the size, which are the best ones to go for?

I always go for class 6 as it's the fastest - whether the cam can use that speed is another matter.
