It wasn't easy to find, but here's a link to the organiser's website:

I'll be walking around with my daughter - K10 and D70. Probably in a black T-shirt with "Photography - capture the moment" logo. If anyone else goes along, say hello!

Thanks for putting up the link John - why didn't I think of that?

Can't think of any that matched that description! The 'Coffee Shop' in London Road was a hangout for quite a few that were into 'controlled substances' for a while, but that went about 30 years ago. The only other 'tea room' that I can think of was 'Nightingales' in the Bishopric, but that was more a pensioners meeting place - very genteel clientel. A girl friend of mine worked there as a saturday job.

Sorry... it's a verse from a rugby song, sung to the tune of "My Bonny Lies Over The Ocean":

My aunt's got a teashop at Horsham,
It's known as a hotbed of sin.
They call it the horshop at Teasham,
My god how the money rolls in.

Ever since I first heard that, I've seen Horsham's teashops in a new light.

I used to live near "V. Spooner - Butcher" although I never quite had the nerve to go in and ask for a mound of pince and some chalk pops. But this was in the 70s, in a village that was looking firmly backwards, if not inwards, and even the greengrocer viewed me with suspicion since I'd dared to ask for a green pepper. He told me that he "didn't do that kind of thing".

I had a thoroughly good day too. Always nice to meet a new face - or two in this case.

Thanks for the heads up about the event as well. Got a few decent pics around the town as well as the performers.
