Hello
I have quite a few slides (mostly Kodachrome) some of which I would like to have printed up to pro quality. I have tried the usual high street outlets but the prints produced were noticeably blurry even though the slides are in perfect focus. I understand that there is a certain way to print slides that would ensure that the prints come out pin sharp.
Can anyone recommend a vendor who can produce good quality prints from slides? Thank you.
Regards
Hyder

The best process to get prints from slides is what used to be called Cibachrome, now called Ilfochrome Classic you can contact Handprints 1st Floor 168 Barton Road Stretford Manchester M32 8 DP Ph 0161 8641029
They charge about £5 for a 10x8 and process to print sizes 4x5 to 20x24

Another place to check out for Cibas is BPD Photech, who produce prints for many of the top UK pros.

I have had slides printed at a high street lab, I never had that problem, try another, I would not have payed for blury prints bacause its down to the lab not focusing on the slide properly.
