View Full Version : advice for the flash light for camera

I am now considering buy a flash light (http://www.sainsonic.com/other/camera-accessories/sainsonic-looper-ss-c60l-macro-led-ring-flash-light-for-canon-camera.html) for my canon camera, but from the description, it looks pretty good, i haven't used this kind of accessories, so i need some advice, shoud i get one or are there any other options.

this looks like a ring flash and is really used for macro work. do you require a general off camera flash

This is a ringlet flash, a sort of low powered ring flash, it's main use it for macro photos

Yes, I do close -up photos and macro work too, are there other kind of flash light, i like this kind of flash because it is ring-like.

if you are using it for macro work then it may be ok but it only has a 1.5-5cm range so thats all it can be used for if you want it to for a longer range then it will not work

people mainly used it for macro photos...
