Hi
When using a inkjet printer then 240 will give excellent results
If your getting a photo printed in a printers with a high quality press ( something like a Roland, or Hidleberg Kord)then use 300ppi

Hi Gary
I've not been on line much of late. I'm changing internet providers and have been having connection issues, because I'm leaving the current one don't want to know, and the new ones can't help till Monday... Graham

PPI - Pixels Per Inch.
On a display? Or when printing out? Either way the higher the number of PPI - quality is better, the image is sharper and crisper.

...the above applies to printing as there is no difference on a display as this is only as a result of the screen resolution and not the PPI...unless considerably resized of course..regards
