Hello, I've heard great things about both the Canon S95 and S100 models, not keen on the touch display of the S110 though (which is also outside my budget). Bear in mind I wouldn't even consider myself an amateur photographer, as I just use a camera casually for days out, family occasions, etc. Are used cameras the only option if I need an S95 or S100 (as they are discontinued), and yes I do want to avoid grey imports.

My budget would be 270 new for either (if non-grey imports, UK models, are still available new anywhere) - I've only found an S100 one through John Lewis at 279.99 though I'm not a fan of the colour in this one. Is used a good route to go, if this is the case my budget would be say 170 for one of the two models in excellent condition.

Hi and welcome.

I would go with the Canon S100 for 239 http://www.ukdigitalcameras.co.uk/digital-cameras/canon-s100-black.html?gclid=CNLmt8_mgLUCFSHHtAodFzkAnQ It was much improved from the S95.

I'm not after a grey import, which after doing some research these evidently are.
