View Full Version : Do i need a cable
I intend to but a nikon speedlight SB910. If I use POP UP flash for master unit and i can control my secong (SB 910) flash is this mean that i don't need a SC-29 and i can hold my flash in hand?

While entry-level models in the Nikon range such as the D3200 and D5100 don’t offer control to command a separate flashgun positioned elsewhere, models above this do.
So if you’ve got a D7000 or higher, or an older model like a D200 or D90, you can use the camera’s built-in flash to trigger a flashgun positioned off-camera without the need for a SC-29 cable.
