Just ordered a WX150 and would like to buy a memory card for it, a couple of questions.
1. I assume a class 10 Extreme SD card would be a sensible choice (transfer 45MB/s)
2. I have been trying to find the maximum capacity sd card the camera will take
Thanks for any help

Hi and welcome.
1. I assume a class 10 Extreme SD card would be a sensible choice (transfer 45MB/s)Yes, could probably use class 6 - write times to the card won't be that fast. I use class 6 and 10 Transcend cards in my Panasonic TZ10 and can't tell the difference. Might as well choose class 10 as they are proven to work fine now...
2. I have been trying to find the maximum capacity sd card the camera will take It's 16GB with "Memory Stick Duo". Far better to get a couple of 8GB or 16GB cards so if one goes down, you got a spare.
Sony would probably prefer you to use a "Memory Stick Duo" as they mention it throughout the manual LOL. Have no idea if they are any better, but expect they cost more.

And don't forget. Post processing is an important part of photography and should be used to sharpen and enhance pictures taken with your camera. If you don't have an imaging editor, then use the one in my signature below. There are 32 video tutorials-Clicky (http://ictpublish.com/pixlr/) to get you started. The most useful is the Adjusting levels-Clicky (http://ictpublish.com/pixlr/Videoes/06_Levels/06_Levels.html) and for even more adjustment. The Curves tool-Clicky (http://ictpublish.com/pixlr/Videoes/07_Curves/07_Curves.html) is a must (it's my favourite all-in-one adjuster). My Resize-Crop-Sharpen tutorial below, will get your pics ready for the internet or whatever

Your camera is compatible with SD, SDHC and SDXC cards, as well as Memory Stick Duo and Memory Stick Pro Duo cards, and micro variants of some of these via an adapter. Sony recommends that SD cards Class 4 or higher are appropriate for the WX150, so a Class 10 SDHC or SDXC card would be more than sufficient. Theoretically you should be able to use the highest-capacity SDXC cards available – currently 128GB, but soon to be dethroned by 256GB version – although these are designed for professional models recording HD video and high-resolution stills cameras, and are unnecessary for a camera such as the WX150 (even at its full 18MP resolution, a 128GB card would still manage to hold in excess of 37,000 images, or over 20 hours of full HD video footage). A good choice for such a camera would be something like a 16GB or 32GB SDHC card, the former of which you can find for less than £10 online and the latter typically being priced between £15-20.
