I am looking to buy a new camera. It will just be a cheap one as I plan to use it on nights out and have a tendency to drop them. It should also be good in low night.

Hi and welcome.

None of the cheap ones are good in low light. Nor are the middle range either. The reason is the small sensor.

If it's to shoot your mates and you using flash, then they will all do that as long as they are not too far away.

Another one to look at is the Samsung PL120 with 2 screens Clicky (http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B004INGFIG/ref=asc_df_B004INGFIG8829278?smid=AEIPJ7P84APWY&tag=pr-syn93-21&linkCode=asn&creative=22218&creativeASIN=B004INGFIG&ascsubtag=a140071986c7046962ee31aa6664b001). You may find a better price in Google.

Cheers!

Thank you for your response :) Do you know which of them would be slightly better? It is just my old one does not take very clear photos in low light whereas my friends takes better ones. They are both cheap ones. Mine does not seem to handle dry ice very well whereas hers does.

I would suggest that you go to a store or camera shop and try some TBH.

Also, If your friends take better pictures than your one, I would buy what they have.

Of course if your objects are stationery. Then a small table top tripod and timer would work wonders!
