Hi all

My camera has packed up and our baby is due any day now.
We don't have a lot of money but someone is selling a Panasonic Lumix FS 42 second hand.

I cant find any info on it though and it seems to be obselete as far as selling it new goes as it doesnt appear anywhere on google.

Can anyone help me and tell me if it is any good and maybe what it does, and any other info about it.
I dont want to buy rubbish as I want to get some nice pictures of our baby but equally money is very tight.

Thanks

Hi, you can buy one refurbished for 39.99 with 3 months warranty. (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Panasonic-Lumix-FS42-Pink-/280866037611?pt=UK_CamerasPhoto_DigitalCameras_Dig italCameras_JN&hash=item4164eb9f6b)

They are not bad little cameras for the price and will take pics of your baby. Turn off the flash and to keep a steady hand, use the 2 second timer.

If you want HD movies then try the Canon A1200 (http://www.cameras.co.uk/reviews/canon-powershot-a1200.cfm)New for around 49.95 (http://www.jessops.com/online.store/products/80065/show.html)

And don't forget. Post processing is an important part of photography and should be used to sharpen and enhance pictures taken with your camera. If you don't have an imaging editor, then use the one in my signature below. There are 32 video tutorials to get you started. The most useful is the Adjusting levels (http://ictpublish.com/pixlr/Videoes/06_Levels/06_Levels.html) and for even more adjustment. The Curves tool (http://ictpublish.com/pixlr/Videoes/07_Curves/07_Curves.html) is a must (it's my favourite all-in-one adjuster). My Resize-Crop-Sharpen tutorial below, will get your pics ready for the internet or whatever

Cheers!
