Please help me with my choice

I am thinking about buying the canon powershot elph 300 hs otherwise known as i think the IXUS 220 or 230.

It has 1080p hd which is a must at 24 fps i found it at a price of £111 i want to stick to under £120. Is there a better camera out there, for the same price with maybe higher fps etc. ?

I've heard good things about the ELPH cameras, but I have no personal experience. I love Sony cameras, and would recommend the Sony camera forum (http://www.photographytalk.com/forum/sony-camera-forum-sony-alpha-a55-and-all-sony-cameras-lenses) for great information.
