View Full Version : Bridge camera suggestions please :O)
Hi
I'm new to photography and about to start a beginners course, and was wondering what would be a good bridge camera to start with.
I currently have a fuji s1000fd but it seems that the image quality is not so good and I've read loads about most cameras have image stabilisation which this is lacking.
So any suggestions would be great.
Thanks Tina

Hi Graham
Between £200 - £300 I know it's not much but maybe enough for one to learn on?

We had the dilema a while ago and ended up going for the HS20 and am enjoying it up to now. Has been very easy to use but not tried out many of its features !!
well I thought I had narrowed it down but..... I'm now waiting to see if the college course is going ahead have been told that lack of numbers maybe a problem (need to wait till Thurs) :o(
So thought I'd look else where other courses available but the requirements are a DSLR!
Problem is being a total beginner I thought a bridge camera would be enough to learn on but this twist has got me wondering if I should wait & save to buy a DSLR.
So now if anyone has any DSLR advice it would really help
Many Thanks Tina x
DaddyG - thanks for the info will take a look!
