I have just purchased a Sony A77 body only and am unsure which lens to buy, I already have some sony fit lenses which include 50mm 17-50mm and 70-200mm, but I am looking for something different.Any suggestions would be great

depends what you mean by something different, you have the typical range covered with your current lenses. You could go for an ultrawide like the Sigma 10-20 or the Sony 11-18. At the other end of the scale you could go longer and get a 70-300mm. Another option would be a Sigma 105mm macro.
I have all the bases covered already with my current set up but only my 24-70 and 70-300 really get any use, I am dreaming of owning a 135 1.8 though, which is wonderful for portraits and is regarded as one of the best lenses, not only on the A mount, but on ANY system.

It would depend on what sort of photography you usually do, you may be as well just replacing one of your current lenses with a higher quality lens of the same range. You would certainly see the benefit with the A77's 24mpix sensor.

Hey, I just got an A77 too! We win! :D
My suggestion, which once I have the money I will be getting, is the 135 STF lens, pretty much the best bokeh out of any lens on the market, perfect for portraits and the like :)

Thanks guys thats great :)
I am thinking about the 10-20 to be honest, or i was thnkin i could swap my 17-70 off my A700.
The problem in my mind is that i want to put a high ish quality lens on the 77 so its at its full potential, and whichever lens i get would be on the camera the most. I do more landscapes and scenery, but just done my nieces wedding using an A55 (which is now on ebay to fund the 77) with a 17-70 and 50mm and my A700 with Sigma 70-200. I am really pleased with them, so may go for the 10-20. just hope it is a good as the reviews. The better one i think is about 499 :D
